AutoCAD Tips & Tricks
Developed for the experienced AutoCAD user, the AutoCAD
Tips and Tricks course will provide you with various tips and shortcuts
all designed to increase your productivity. Note you must have access to
AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2004,
2005, 2006, 2007,2008, 2009, 2010 or LT2000,
LT2002, LT2004, LT2005, LT2006, LT2007,
LT2008, LT2009 or LT2010 for this course.
Educational versions of AutoCAD will work for the
course as well.
Note:
By default AutoCAD LT does not have all of the features found in the
full versions of AutoCAD. If you are using AutoCAD LT you will
NOT be able to do approximately 20% of the exercises.

Course Registration Procedure
|
1. Make sure you have the REQUIRED
SOFTWARE. |
 |
AutoCAD is not supplied as part of your enrollment and
registration fees. You must have access to the correct
version of AutoCAD to successfully complete the course. If you need access
to AutoCAD check out the Student Version.

2. Register For the Course. |
 |
Credit
Card. Selecting the
credit card option will take you to a secure site where you can
register for the class via the internet. You also have the option of
registering for the course using a credit card over the phone. We use
CyberCash for the on-line transactions, the leading provider of secure
Internet payment solutions worldwide.

Mail.
Selecting the mail
option will take you to a form you can fill out and register for the
non-credit
class via the internet. After filling out the form, your space will
be secured in the course for 5 business days, giving your payment time to
arrive via conventional mail. You will need to send your payment for the
appropriate course fee to the address listed on the form. Acceptable forms
of payment are personal check, money order, or company purchase order.
Purchase Order. If you are going to
pay by purchase order make sure you fill out the
mail option and FAX
a copy of the purchase order to 270-767-1633.

The course will use AutoCAD Secrets Ever User Should Know by Dan Abbot (ISBN 0-978-0-470-10993-9).

Refund Policy
Students are eligible for a full refund of
tuition if officially withdrawn from class before the start date. NO
refunds will be issued on textbooks and other course material. Students
requesting withdrawal from a class must do so by sending an E-MAIL to
cadregister@cadinstitute.com. Tuition refunds that result from
officially withdrawing will be made in accordance with the following
dates:

Information
| Keep in mind this course
covers many
advanced features found in AutoCAD. You MUST
have a sound working knowledge of
AutoCAD to enroll. You should expect to
spend a MINIMUM of 5 hours per week on the course during the 8 week
time period. |
| In addition to the pre-requisite for the course,
you should also be familiar with basic computer operations. You
should know how to use E-MAIL to send and receive files, feel
comfortable using the internet, be familiar with basic file
management procedures (creating a subdirectory, opening and closing
a file etc). |
